1. COVERED MATERIAL
This license covers the Human Freefall VCA Master and Link devices, accompanying Human Freefall interface code, and documentation supplied with this release (the Software), to the extent owned by Jose Santiago. Separately licensed third-party components remain subject to their own terms. This license does not grant rights to Ableton Live, Max for Live, or other third-party products.

2. FREE USE
Jose Santiago grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to download, install, run, and make backup copies of the Software on computers you own or control. You may use it for personal, educational, professional, and commercial music work, including paid performances, client projects, recordings, streams, and commercial releases. You may demonstrate its operation in tutorials and reviews.

3. PERSONAL MODIFICATIONS
You may inspect and modify the Software for your own private use, including your own commercial music work. Keep the copyright and license notices with your copies. Modified copies must remain private and must not be distributed to others without prior written permission from Jose Santiago. Personal modifications are not official Human Freefall releases and are not entitled to support.

4. YOUR CREATIVE OUTPUT
You retain your rights in music and other creative output made using the Software. You may publish, perform, distribute, and sell that output without royalties or mandatory credit to Human Freefall. This permission does not authorize distributing the Software itself inside project files, templates, sample packs, or other products. Other people's music and materials remain subject to their own rights.

5. DISTRIBUTION AND BRANDING RESTRICTIONS
Without prior written permission from Jose Santiago, you may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, mirror, rehost, or bundle the Software or modified copies, whether free or paid. You may not present it as your own product, rebrand it, or remove copyright, authorship, or license notices. To share Human Freefall VCA, link to https://humanfreefall.com/apps/human-freefall-vca-lite/ so others can obtain their own copy.

6. NAMES AND MARKS
Human Freefall VCA and Human Freefall identify Jose Santiago's products and creative practice. This license grants no right to use their names, logos, or marks to brand another product or imply endorsement. Accurate identification in reviews, tutorials, and links is permitted. Ableton and Max for Live are trademarks of their respective owners. Human Freefall VCA is an independent product and is not represented as endorsed by them.

7. NO WARRANTY; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. No uninterrupted operation, compatibility, updates, or support is promised. Back up important work and test the Software before use in a live performance or production project.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jose Santiago is not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the Software, including lost data, lost profits, interruption, or other direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

8. LICENSE SCOPE AND COMPLIANCE
The permissions above are conditional on compliance with this license. If you breach its conditions, these permissions terminate; stop using and distributing the Software and remove your copies, except as required or permitted by applicable law. This does not affect your rights in previously created music or other creative output. Nothing in this license limits uses independently permitted by law.
This version applies to copies supplied with it. It does not retroactively replace any separate license already granted for an earlier copy. Future releases may carry different terms. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not revoke this license.
